Group payments
When an organizer creates a SPLIT, the service processes the SPLIT name, participant names and email addresses, selected network and asset, payout wallet address, exact participant shares, and payment status. When a participant submits a payment, the service may also store the payer wallet address and blockchain transaction hash so the payment can be verified.
Token launches
Token launch information such as token name, symbol, description, public website/social links, public wallet addresses, token media, mint address, launch record and creator-revenue routing is processed to build, register and display the launch. Public token metadata and on-chain addresses are intended to be public.
Service providers
SPLIT uses infrastructure and APIs to perform the requested actions. Depending on the feature, data may be processed by Render for hosting and private Key Value storage, Resend for transactional email, Irys for permanent token media storage, Metaplex for Genesis launch creation/registration, and the relevant public blockchain/RPC providers for transaction submission or verification.
Private links
Participant payment links are signed bearer links. A person who has the link can view the payment request, so participants should not post or forward it publicly. Participant email addresses are not embedded directly in the URL.
Retention and public blockchains
Private application records may be retained as needed to keep SPLIT payment history and status working. Blockchain transactions and permanently uploaded token media are outside SPLIT's ability to erase once published to their respective decentralized/permanent systems.
Creator dashboard
The creator dashboard uses a wallet address and a signed login message to authenticate the creator. SPLIT may store private creator indexes that connect that wallet to SPLITs, launches and creator-revenue distribution history so the dashboard can be restored on another device.
Email delivery events
When email webhooks are enabled, SPLIT may store delivery states such as accepted, delivered, delayed, bounced or complained together with the Resend email identifier needed to match the event to the intended participant.
Security
SPLIT does not need a wallet seed phrase or private key from a user. Wallet connections and blockchain transactions should be approved only inside the user's wallet after checking the network, amount, asset and recipient.
Before a public commercial launch, the project owner should have the final privacy notice and retention/contact details reviewed for the jurisdictions where SPLIT will operate.
